The Zions Bank Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration is held the day after Thanksgiving from 5-7 p.m. in the Grove Plaza. Boise Mayor Dave Bieter and his family will light up the Christmas tree, and families in attendance will sing carols and join in the ceremony. Bring your family to the event that lights up downtown and welcomes the holiday season to Boise. The event includes the lighting of the community Christmas tree, live music, caroling, candle lighting, and food and beverages. Visit www.downtownboise.org for more information.
