Information
The Camas Wildlife Refuge, northwest of Hamer, is a 10,578-acre sanctuary for migrating waterfowl and other animals. Geese, ducks, herons, egrets, cranes and swans all nest here. Antelope, moose, elk, white-tail deer, beaver, muskrat and the occasional mule deer can also be found. The refuge allows limited waterfowl, pheasant and sage grouse hunting in the fall.
