Within the boundaries of downtown Idaho Falls are a collection of cultural facilities including the Willard Arts Center/Colonial Theater, the Museum of Idaho, the Eagle Rock Art Museum, Actors Repertory Theatre of Idaho, and, of course, the Idaho Falls Public Library. Other important ingredients in the Cultural District are its commercial art galleries, glass and ceramic studios, dance studios, the Centre Theater, which shows independent films, and Chesbro Music Company with the largest offering of printed music in the west. Delightful public art, the beautiful Snake River with the falls, downtown gift shops, antique stores, fine restaurants, a farmer's market, and summer events make this a fine cultural experience for the visitor.
