Information
The magnificent Sawtooth Mountains are the crown jewels of Idaho's mountain ranges. Here are the headwaters of the Salmon River and over 300 alpine lakes which lie nestled between the jagged peaks. The 754,000-acre Sawtooth National Recreation Area is a part of the Sawtooth National Forest. Trail rides and pack trips, scenic drives, hiking and boating are all available near Stanley.
