Silverwood Theme Park is the largest of its kind in the Northwest. Built in 1988 with a Victorian mining town theme, the park now covers 200 acres with more than 65 rides and attractions. Dominating the skies at Silverwood is Aftershock – the 191 foot tall steel roller coaster, Tremors, a 65-mph wooden coaster that drops 103 feet and plummets underground four times, the 55-mph Timber Terror wooden coaster, the Corkscrew coaster, the 140-foot tall Panic Plunge drop tower, Thunder Canyon whitewater ride, a 1915 steam-powered train and, a miniature mining town for kids. Silverwood also features dozens of traditional amusement rides. Shows include illusion and juggling acts, as well as an ice show and the Garfield and Odie show. The 16-acre Boulder Beach Water Park, within Silverwood, includes the Avalanche Mountain Water Ride, two gigantic wave pools, inner tube slides, a lazy river, two kiddie areas with pools, slides and interactive water toys and is the ultimate water park in the region!
