Information
Located southeast of Swan Valley in eastern Idaho, Palisades is a high-altitude reservoir and part of the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. Surrounded by steep forested mountains, the 16,000-acre reservoir is an excellent spot for boating, camping, and wildlife viewing. Fishing may be better in fall and winter for cutthroat and brown trout, kokanee and mackinaw. Boat ramps and camp sites are available.
