Owyhee County is home to the Snake, Owyhee and Bruneau Rivers, Bruneau Sand Dunes, Snake River Birds of Prey Areas, Jump Creek Canyon and historic Silver City. Boating is popular on the Snake River and C.J. Strike Reservoir. The Owyhee and Bruneau Rivers offer spectacular rafting trips during their brief seasons. Desert hiking and trail riding are popular almost year-round. The Bruneau Canyon Overlook east of Bruneau offers a view into the remote Bruneau Canyon.
