Location: Southwestern Idaho, SE of Boise
Directions: From I-84, take the Fairfield/Sun Valley exit N. at Mountain Home. Drive Hwy. 20 NE about 9 mi. to Emigrant Rd. on the left. Take Emigrant Rd. back towards Boise, which becomes Foothills Rd., Mayfield Rd. and Blacks Creek Rd.

Information

The Emigrant Foothills Road from Hwy. 20 runs along the Oregon Trail for about 25 miles. You can park off the road at several places and take short hikes. This is also a good loop drive from Boise.
