Directions: From I-90 at Coeur d’Alene take Exit 12 and travel N. on Hwy 95 approximately 18 miles to Athol, at Athol travel E. on Hwy 54 approximately 4 miles. See location map below.

Information

Information on current closures are available at the Visitor Center between 9-4 or by calling 208-683-2425. Expected opening schedule is listed below under the PARK INFO tab. Gilmore Campground will open March 19th with electrical services at the sites. A water fill is avaialble at the west RV dump station. A vault toilet is avialable with the shower house opening mid May. Thimbleberry Area will be available through April 29th for primitive camping (vault toilet only) and north side trail access. Corral Campground (for equestrian use)is now open for the season (vault toilet only). Ward RV Primitive Area (for fully self contained units only, no tables provided or fires permitted) is now open for the season. Waldron camping cabins are available with limited services (no water and vault toilet only), for reservations, 1-888-922-6743.

Season: Summer , Fall , Spring
Hours: Visitor Center and open day use facilities; 9am-4pm daily.

Fees: $5 per vehicle/day for day use activities. Annual day use passes for the 2010 calendar year are $35 first vehicle and $5 for one additional vehicle. Separate camping fees; see listings under the "Stay Overnight" tab.
