Latah County offers 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails spread over three areas of the region. The largest system begins at Elk River and features more than 200 miles of groomed trails. Trail riding to hillclimbing can be enjoyed with elevations from 3,000 to 6,000 feet. Just northeast of Moscow on Moscow Mountain is a smaller system of trails extending along the ridge of the mountain and down into a loop trail at the east end with a viewpoint at the summit. Full-services can be found in both Moscow and Elk River.
