The rich history of the Boise Basin is captured in artifacts from the gold rush of the 1860s and the following eras at this museum in Idaho City. Kenn Smith's unique bottle collection from the Boise Basin is considered one of the Northwest's finest and a video presentation is available. The museum is surrounded by a village of frame buildings from the 19th century.
