Information

Heritage Days 2007 will celebrate the heritage of the entire community. The events will take place at the Sacajawea Interpretive, Cultural and Educational Center, on Hwy 28, and at Cavaness Park, by the river bridge in Salmon. Educational "stations" for local school students September 19, 20 and 21 will be provided. Public events take place on September 22. The Lemhi County Historical Museum will remain open. Planned are a Dutch oven lunch, stage coach rides, 1800's skill demonstrations, music, gold-panning, western poetry, storytelling, local authors, photography show, apple festival, native American dancing and more!
