Soul Food Extravaganza

The Soul Food Extravaganza, now in its 18th year, is a celebration of diversity. The festivities will be held at Julia Davis Park in Boise Idaho on August 7, 2010. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a fabulous variety of soul food and a profusion of entertainment. There will be plenty of activities for the kids so bring the family. There will be soul food ranging from BBQ ribs to sweet potato pie and sweet tea. This is a unique opportunity for you foodies out there to taste some down home soul food cuisine. Also, the beer garden will host a dominos tournament as well as offer pub style seating. On stage at the Julia Davis band shell, we will feature an outstanding venue of music, dance, and entertainment. A diverse line up of passionate and soulful sounds of jazz, contemporary and traditional, a taste of Gospel added with a modest splash of hip hop should satisfy anyone’s musical palette.
