Using the copy line “Nowhere near…” for our advertising campaign since it’s inception in 2003, positions the state in geographic terms but also separates it from travel elsewhere, thereby differentiating itself from other Western states. It uses a “geographic viewpoint” to sell Idaho’s many destinations and travel opportunities. All media messages in all media forms and formats use this position to “umbrella” more specific sales copy about Idaho.
