Place to Go

There's plenty to see and lots to do in Idaho. Cast a line. Hike a trail. Raft a river. You'll get away from it all yet still feel at home.

Of course, Idaho has skiing. And the powder is every bit as good as Utah's. There are several options to ski the mountains of Idaho but my favorites are on near opposite sides of the state. My first choice in the north is a little known ski area called Silver Mountain... . My next favorite is Grand Targhee in South East Idaho just west of the famous Jackson Hole.
