Information
The Hagerman National Fish Hatchery is located in the beautiful Thousand Springs area of the Snake River. It began operations in 1933 and has since expanded to more than 60 rearing tanks and 78 raceways. The hatchery produces more than 1.4 million steelhead each year that are released into the Salmon River. Rainbow trout are also raised here. Summer hosts are available to conduct tours. Contact the hatchery to schedule a tour.

Directions
Three miles south of Hagerman on HWY 30 you will see a large 4 x 8 rustic wooden sign directing you to turn left. Follow the signs for two miles to the fish hatchery
