Information

The Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial is a world-class educational park inspired by Anne Frank's faith in humanity. The stunning Memorial is the only Anne Frank monument in the United States and also one of the only places in the world where the full Universal Declaration of Human Rights is on public display. The Memorial includes a life-sized bronze statue of Anne Frank and over 60 quotes from the world's humanitarian leaders. The multi-issue Memorial was designed to engage visitors’ highest ethical values and remind us the terrible cost of failing to act when action is required. A living, vibrant interactive classroom for youth, it is a space that implores people of all ages to contemplate the moral implications of their actions and speak out against injustice. The Memorial also has free, bilingual audio tour technology in English and Spanish. The Memorial is located in the heart of Boise’s downtown cultural district and along the Boise River and Greenbelt. South 8th Street dead ends at the Memorial behind the Boise Public Library.
