Information
Dworshak Reservoir is 54 mile long, 19,000 surface acres of water, boating and fishing spot popular with visitors and residents. The dam holding back water is the tallest straight axis concrete dam in North America. Amenities include a Visitor Center, beach, Dent Acres Campground with full service camp sites, three primitive campgrounds, along with primitive camp sites are located on isolated coves dotted around the lake. There are four day-use areas, 15 miles of hiking trails, floating public toilets, and recreation docks. Anglers fish for kokanee salmon, rainbow trout and smallmouth bass. Dworshak currently holds the record for smallmouth bass.
