Weiser has hosted the Nat'l Oldtime Fiddlers' Contest and Festival for 57 years. Contestants from all over the U.S., Canada and foreign countries compete to become the champion Oldtime Fiddler in their age category. The Grand National Championship is open to all ages and the winner is announced Saturday night.
Festival activities include week-long entertainment on the Bluegrass Village/City Park stage, Bluegrass and acoustic music Friday and Saturday, Kids' Day Friday, carnival Wednesday through Saturday, over 50 quality vendors in City Park, one of Idaho's largest parades on Saturday beginning at noon. Jam sessions, arts and crafts sale in Vendome Events Center, many local organizations hosting special events. Campground near contest for week-long camping, (limited hook-ups available)Fine family fun for all. (Bring your lawn chairs to Bluegrass Village/ City Park entertainment)

Festival events are free of charge. Contest tickets are $2.50 day sessions, GA tickets $11 RES $13 Saturday night tickets $16 GA and $19 RES
