The Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre is Idaho's oldest performing arts organization. For more than 40 years, the theater has flourished and has become a hallmark for summer travelers to Northern Idaho. Professional Broadway musicals are performed at the Schuler Performing Arts Center on the campus of North Idaho College on Coeur d'Alene Lake during June, July and August. 2011 Season Lineup includes: Wizard of OZ June 9-12 and 16-19 A Little Night Music June 30 July 1-3 and 7-10 Once on this Island July 21-24 and 28-31 Sound of Music Aug 11-14 and 18-21 Our multi-talented performers are recruited nationally and many have gone on to appear in film, television, and in professional venues, including the Broadway stage and national touring companies. We also feature full orchestrations performed by the region's most accomplished musicians. Schuler Performing Arts Center is easily North Idaho's most beautiful and functional performing arts facility, with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems and a modern 1174-seat proscenium theatre.
